Wildwood Crest Centennial Celebration
Wildwood Crest Centennial Summer Kickoff Weekend May 29-30
WILDWOOD CREST – The Borough of Wildwood Crest and its Centennial Committee will host the Centennial Summer Kickoff Weekend Saturday and Sunday, May 29-30, with FREE concerts for the entire family from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Centennial Park, Fern Road and Ocean Avenue. The Mango Men, a rock/country group featuring summer-themed music, will perform Saturday, and Parrotbeach, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band, will take the stage Sunday.
The concerts are all-ages shows for the entire family. Bring a blanket or a chair. Free parking will be available at Myrtle Road and Ocean Avenue.
In addition, T-shirts and other Centennial merchandise, as well as the commemorative Centennial book, The First Hundred Years …, will be on sale during Centennial Summer Kickoff Weekend.
In the event of inclement weather, shows will be held indoors at the Crest Pier Recreation Center at Heather Road and Ocean Avenue.
